Hiring an experienced Business Bankruptcy Paralegal for an established Business Law Firm in Miami. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial bankruptcy matters, including complex bankruptcy litigation, Chapter 7 trustee representation, insolvencies, restructuring, and creditor rights matters.
Job responsibilities include:
(1) assisting attorneys in case analysis and investigation for bankruptcy trustees,
(2) preparing motions, affidavits, legal correspondence, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, and other documents,
(3) researching and investigating facts, applicable laws, and conducting public records searches,
(4) assisting in preparation for depositions, hearings and trials,
(5) e-filing pleadings and other court documents, document intake, review and analysis, and
(6) maintaining case files and electronic records.
The Paralegal will interact regularly with clients, experts, court personnel, and attorneys from other firms.
