Mutual Funds Assistant

Job Summary:

Reports to N.I.S. Financial Services, Inc. (NISFS) Assistant Supervisor. This position is entry-level supporting NISFS Department, Ozark National and NISFS' Registered Representatives, and Customer Service.

Essential Functions

· Customer and Registered Representative Service.

· Review, data entry, copying and imaging of new account applications.

· Correspondence letters to agents and clients.

· Review and forwarding of additional purchases to Mutual Fund Company.

· Data entry and forwarding of address changes to Mutual Fund Company.

· Monthly blotter updates.

· Adding/detaching of policies to new and existing mutual funds.

Secondary Functions

· Opening and distribution of mail to employees and departments.

· Assisting with monthly, quarterly and annual projects.

· Filing and imaging of correspondence.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Strong written and oral communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Must be able to learn and adapt to new procedures and technology.

· Must be able to effectively prioritize workflow.

Education and Experience

· High School diploma or equivalent.

Licenses and Certifications

· None required.

Supervision and Leadership

· No supervision responsibilities.

Work Environment

· This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

· Regular and predictable attendance is required. Overtime may be required at peak times.

· The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
