You’ll manage a high school special education caseload while also delivering specially designed social studies instruction. Spanish language skills are appreciated but not required, making this the perfect fit for both bilingual and monolingual educators.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Active or pending Delaware Special Education Certification (SPED)
• Capable of managing caseload and teaching special education social studies
• Eligibility to pass background check and drug screening
• Able to work onsite (no remote)
• Spanish language skills a plus, but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

• Case manage high school students on your caseload
• Prepare and deliver engaging special education social studies instruction
• Collaborate with school leadership and general education teams
• Ensure compliance with IEPs and state/federal special education regulations
