Key Qualifications: Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license GaPSC SLP Educator Certification required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience providing services in a school setting, particularly elementary grades Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff Ability to manage caseloads and paperwork efficiently in a busy school environment Primary Responsibilities: Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students with speech and language needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to student progress Serve as a resource to teachers and parent communities on speech and language development Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations using standardized tools Maintain detailed session notes and required documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and team planning as needed This full-time maternity leave assignment runs from ASAP through early October 2026 and involves supporting a diverse group of elementary students.
