Freight Forwarder / Air Import

The Air Import Coordinator manages end-to-end airfreight import operations for an assigned portfolio of accounts. You will oversee shipments from origin to final delivery—handling documentation, customs release, carrier tracking, and accurate billing to deliver top-tier service while optimizing job profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Execution: Coordinate, track, and trace international air import shipments, ensuring seamless routing, dispatch, and timely delivery.

• Customs & Compliance: Review import documentation, coordinate customs/port clearance, and maintain full alignment with company, industry, and trade regulations.

• Client & Vendor Communication: Serve as the primary contact for customers, overseas agents, and internal teams—providing updates, rate quotes, and prompt issue resolution.

• Financial Accuracy: Ensure precise billing and cost entry in TMF for job costing, accurate invoicing, and maximum profitability.

• Performance: Consistently hit core operational KPIs (DNI, LNR, Cost Accuracy, ROTP).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years in airfreight forwarding or a related logistics field.

• Knowledge: Experience of import/export rules, customs regulations, and shipping schedules.

• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (and transport management systems like TMF), with exceptional organization, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities
