WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

This is a Part-time Retail Store Assistant Manager position. The Store Assistant Manager must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including peak seasons and special events. The role may also require working in multiple store locations as needed.

All that you need is:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of retail experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (preferred)
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Ability to express both concrete and abstract ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work with minimal direction as a resourceful, independent problem solver and make decisions within standard practices
• Ability to perform simple math calculations, including addition, multiplication, and percentages
• Ability to travel and work in multiple store locations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including peak seasons and special events
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, handle objects, talk, and listen
• Ability to occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach above the shoulders, and lift more than 50 pounds
• Knowledge of and ability to regularly use electrical cables, simple hand tools, a magnifying glass, spot welders, automotive and electronic testing equipment, a phone, fax, computer, and printer/copier
• Willingness to wear goggles, gloves, and steel-toed shoes

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS OUR RETAIL STORE ASSISTANT MANAGER?

As a Store Assistant Manager, you will work alongside the Store Manager to oversee daily store operations and support financial and operational efficiency. You will promote a customer-first approach that drives sales and enhances customer satisfaction while helping maintain an organized and efficient store environment. Throughout the day, you will manage purchasing activities, maintain inventory accuracy, ensure product displays and pricing remain accurate, and help implement loss prevention and safety measures. You will also perform technical responsibilities, including installing automotive batteries, rebuilding battery packs, replacing device components, and programming keys and fobs. As a leader within the store, you will assist with hiring and training new team members and will assume supervisory responsibilities whenever the Store Manager is absent.
