About the Role

\n

A growing artificial turf installation company in the Tampa Bay area is looking for a driven General Manager to lead a growing operation in one of Florida's fastest-growing markets. You will be scheduling and leading installation crews, following up on inbound leads, building relationships with homeowners, and closing projects in a territory with existing momentum behind it. The right person brings strong leadership and sales instincts.

What You'll Do

\n

• Oversee all functions of the business including operations, sales and marketing, scaling the team, and building culture.
\n
• Drive new business through referral partnerships, inbound lead follow-up, and outbound prospecting.
\n
• Conduct on-site consultations, assess property needs, prepare estimates, and close residential turf projects.
\n
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with consistent follow-up.
\n
• Communicate project details to installation crews and stay involved through completion.
\n
• Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
\n
• Support proposal creation, scheduling, and CRM updates.
\n

What We're Looking For

• Proven background in outside sales, home services, landscaping, construction, or a related field is preferred.
\n
• Comfortable in the field; site visits, in-home consultations, and face-to-face selling are a big part of the day to day.
\n
• Strong communicator who builds trust quickly with homeowners.
\n
• Organized and dependable with excellent follow-through habits.
\n
• Self-starter who can manage a territory independently and generate their own pipeline.
\n
• Someone who wants to grow with the business over time.

Compensation: $60K base with a recoverable draw providing a $90K annualized floor for the first 90 days, plus 10% of gross profit on personal sales and a 10% override on commissions earned by the sales team. Year 1 OTE is approximately $100K–$130K targeting $150K+ by Year 3 through team growth and performance-based profit participation. Includes a company vehicle, health insurance stipend, and potential long-term ownership opportunity.
