Service Desk Support Technician

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled, service-oriented, and technical Service Desk Support Technician to join our growing IT team. In this role, you will deliver front-line technical support to end-users both on-site and remotely, ensuring the timely and effective resolution of hardware, software, network connectivity, and operating system issues.

This is a dynamic position for an analytical problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will manage Active Directory user accounts, deploy PC refreshes, configure conference room IT infrastructure, and utilize enterprise ticketing systems to track and resolve incidents. Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Incident Management
• Help Desk Operations: Respond to and resolve phone, chat, and email support requests professionally and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation within enterprise ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Zendesk).
• Desktop & Remote Support: Deliver direct on-site and remote troubleshooting for users experiencing operating system, application, and connectivity problems across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
• Hardware Lifecycle Management: Perform hardware diagnostics, execute PC refreshes, coordinate equipment repairs, and manage the installation, upgrade, and replacement of software and workstations.
• Infrastructure Support: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot conference room audiovisual and related on-site IT infrastructure.

Identity & Access Administration
• Active Directory & Intune: Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Intune tasks, including user onboarding, offboarding, permission modifications, and system configuration profiles.
• Process Improvement: Adhere to established ITIL-aligned service desk procedures, contribute to workflow enhancements, and maintain high standards of technical support.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: High school diploma or GED required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is strongly preferred).
• Experience Baseline: Proven professional experience in a hands-on IT service desk or desktop support role.
• Technical Mastery:
oThorough, practical experience supporting PCs, Active Directory, and Microsoft Intune.
oDeep proficiency with Microsoft O365 Products, Windows 10, macOS, and iOS environments.
oHands-on familiarity with enterprise ticketing systems and ITIL service management principles.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, bend, stand, climb, and walk as required for equipment setup and on-site support.
• Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining a collaborative, customer-first attitude.

Preferred Attributes
• Formal IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified, ITIL Foundation).
• Experience supporting corporate conference room technologies and enterprise mobility management (EMM) solutions.
