Job Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS: Ensure compliance with all Magna, OSHA, and workplace safety policies while promoting a safe work environment through training, audits, and enforcement of safe material-handling practices. Oversee material flow and inventory operations, including forklift operation, storage, shipping/receiving activities, cycle counts, and inventory transaction accuracy. Monitor warehouse and storage efficiency by optimizing travel routes, maintaining safe storage conditions, and ensuring timely availability of materials and changeover racks. Verify operational readiness by conducting vehicle inspections, confirming part quantities and conditions, and coordinating containers, dunnage, trucks, and trailers to prevent shortages or disruptions. Analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies, maintain required documentation, perform audits, and communicate operational issues and corrective actions to management. Support daily operations through employee assistance, break relief coverage, housekeeping activities, policy adherence, and other assigned responsibilities. POSITION REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred HS Diploma or GED required WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING: One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
