This is our city and our people.What you will have an opportunity to do:Basic FunctionsThe Accounting Manager oversees daily accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, income auditing, and payroll processing for the property. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, timely payroll processing, and compliance with company policies and procedures.Essential FunctionsOversee daily accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, income auditing, and payrollSupervise and support accounting staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion of responsibilitiesProcess property payroll accurately and on time, including reviewing time records, payroll adjustments, and resolving discrepanciesMonitor labor reporting and ensure compliance with payroll policies and applicable wage and hour regulationsSafeguard hotel assets, monitor receivables, and maintain effective internal controlsAssist in preparing accurate monthly financial statements and reportsMaintain financial records, contracts, leases, and supporting documentationEnsure compliance with company policies, management agreements, and applicable laws and regulationsCoordinate internal and external audits, including preparing required documentationAssist with financial presentations and reporting for ownership and managementOversee income auditing, cash and credit card reconciliations, and chargeback resolutionReview direct billing applications and provide recommendations to the Controller or Director of FinanceEnsure accurate billing practices and review billing adjustmentsSupport month-end closing, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliationsEnsure compliance with company cash-handling policies and proceduresCollaborate with department leaders to resolve financial discrepancies and improve processesPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitalityHigh school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferredPrevious supervisory experience preferredExperience processing payroll and knowledge of payroll procedures and wage and hour requirementsKnowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliationsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with payroll and hotel accounting systems preferredStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentiality, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlinesWhat are we looking for?Compensation:$-Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
