Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care and supports the patient care team under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role involves assisting patients with daily living activities, performing clinical tasks, and supporting efficient department operations. The CNA must demonstrate commitment to quality care and effective communication within a team environment. Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with routine activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility, feeding, and skin care.
• Perform clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, collecting specimens, performing pulse oximetry, and assisting with diagnostic preparations.
• Support patient care team by performing delegated procedures and assisting in emergency situations.
• Maintain and clean equipment and prepare patient rooms for admission, discharge, and post-mortem care.
• Document patient care activities and communicate patient status to licensed professionals.
• Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, data entry, and coordinating supplies and equipment needs.

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license obtained through Prometric certification.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current AHA BLS Provider CPR certification at hire.
• Ability to work weekends as required.

• Experience in long-term care or similar healthcare settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

• Must be certified through Prometric.
• Weekend availability is mandatory.
• Work involves rotation between 8-hour and 12-hour shifts totaling 40 scheduled hours per week.

• Rotational schedule consisting of two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts weekly.
• 40 scheduled hours per week with mandatory weekend coverage.
