Sr. Product Manager

We are looking for a Product Manager to join Aptiv’s Digital Cockpit& Middleware product group.The Product Manager will support every stage of the product lifecycle: from strategic planning and roadmap creation to feature definition, product development, launch, and market activation. This role focuses on the middleware, lifecycle management, and software-defined vehicle platform solutions. A key part of the role includes collaboration with OEM customers, internal engineering teams, and marketing functions to support business development efforts, OEM pursuits, and showcase events like CES and global tech days.Key Responsibilities:· Define product vision, value propositions, and roadmap for vehicle architecture and lifecycle management solutions that can be applied to automotive and adjacent markets.· Write clear, detailed product requirements documents (PRDs) and user stories based on product vision and user needs to drive alignment and roadmap execution with engineering· Collaborate with engineering and program teams to apply Agile product development techniques, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative validation· Support the development and launch of new features and products by working with hardware, software, UX, and system engineering teams· Support global OEM pursuits by contributing to RFQ responses, preparing demonstration materials, and supporting pre-sales engagements· Monitor market trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments to continuously refine product strategies· Collaborate with marketing and customer engineering teams to develop training materials, product documentation, and communications tools· Partner with Aptiv’s global product teams and suppliers to ensure roadmap alignment and technical integration feasibility· Positively contribute to a cohesive product team culture and product mindset for all stakeholders.· Understand and clearly articulate the customer pain points to empower cross-functional teams to deliver compelling solutions.Required Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline· 5-7 years of experience in product management, system engineering, or business development—preferably in automotive, embedded systems and software, and software lifecycle management of embedded applications.· Familiarity with lifecycle and analytics solutions such as containers, OTA, and Observability/Analytics is desired.· Familiarity with existing middleware solutions such as Adaptive AutoSAR, Data Distribution Services and/or ROS 2 is a bonus.· Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a growth mindset· Passion for innovation, user experience, and next-generation vehicle technologies· Willingness to travel internationally for team alignment, OEM engagements, and major eventsYOUR BENEFITS AT APTIV:Private health care effective day 1 of employmentLife and accident insurancePaid Time Off (Holidays, Vacation, Designated time off, Parental leave)Relocation assistance may be availableLearning and development opportunitiesDiscount programs with various manufacturers and retailersRecognition for innovation and excellenceOpportunities to give back to the communityTuition ReimbursementAdoption AssistanceFertility CoverageAPPLY TODAY, AND TOGETHER LET’S CHANGE TOMORROW! “Aptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
