Health Communications Specialist

To provide health communications and digital media support within the Office of the Director, the remote Health Communications Specialist III will write public health messages, coordinate web and social media content, and collaborate with CDC communication teams. Key responsibilities Write and develop public health materials, including website content, fact sheets, and social media messaging Coordinate and manage content across CDC websites and social media platforms while adhering to clearance guidelines Collaborate with subject matter experts and communications professionals to ensure accuracy and consistency of messages Required qualifications Seven (7) years of relevant work experience in health communications or a related field Experience with current 508 compliance requirements and the Clear Communication Index Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance Advanced proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office Tools Master's degree in Communications, English, Health Education, Public Health, or a related field is preferred
