Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Execute various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly communicating each phase with empathy and professionalism
• Work in tandem with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and oversee ultrasound equipment, swiftly reporting any issues
• Maintain thorough documentation of procedures and patient records in the electronic medical system
• Continuously update knowledge on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
