Job Locations US-MO-Republic Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Republic, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service while using computer or tablet-based systems to document observations and communicate with the team. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.19 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Tue: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sat: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You\'ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access-control points, visitor activity, and delivery areas in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Document patrol findings, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
