Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as an Operating Room RN
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and in good standing)
• Thorough understanding of sterile technique and surgical procedures
• Proficiency assisting surgeons and supporting anesthetic care
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced settings
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Schedule:

• Contract position with competitive hours (full-time availability expected)
• May include varying shifts and occasional weekends, depending on surgical schedule

Primary Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and surgical technologists
• Monitor and advocate for patient safety before, during, and after surgery
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with surgical counts
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficiency
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the surgical experience
• Respond rapidly and effectively in urgent situations to promote optimal outcomes

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
