Doggie Daycare Receptionist & Pet Specialist

Pay: $16.00/hour + Tips
Hours: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

We are looking for reliable, energetic, and animal-loving team members to join our doggie daycare! We are currently hiring for both a Receptionist and a Pet Specialist .

Receptionist

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for our customers and their pets. We are looking for someone friendly, organized, professional, and comfortable working in a busy environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and checking dogs in and out
• Answering phones and assisting with customer questions
• Scheduling reservations and appointments
• Processing payments
• Maintaining accurate customer and pet information
• Communicating professionally with pet owners and team members
• Helping keep the front desk and lobby clean and organized

What we're looking for:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer and phone skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Dependable and punctual
• Comfortable around dogs of all breeds and sizes
• Previous receptionist, customer service, or pet care experience is a plus

Pet Specialist

Pet Specialists are responsible for supervising and caring for dogs throughout the day while maintaining a safe, clean, and positive daycare environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising dogs during group play
• Monitoring dog behavior and interactions
• Feeding, watering, and providing general care
• Cleaning kennels, play areas, and common spaces
• Following safety and sanitation procedures
• Reporting behavioral or health concerns
• Providing plenty of attention, enrichment, and activity
• Assisting with moving and handling dogs of different sizes and energy levels

What we're looking for:

• Must genuinely enjoy working with animals
• Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
• Able to remain alert and active throughout the shift
• Able to stand, walk, bend, clean, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Reliable, patient, and able to work well with a team
• Previous kennel, daycare, veterinary, grooming, or animal care experience is preferred but not required

Schedule & Compensation

Our daycare operates 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM . Applicants should have availability within these hours, including weekends if needed.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour plus tips.
