Precision CNC Setup and Production Machining Technician
Location: Hanover Park, IL
Hi! I’m Trisha, a Senior Recruiter with TekPro. We’re teaming up with a well-established precision manufacturer that produces high‑quality machined components for demanding industries. If you take pride in accuracy, consistency, and clean workmanship, this opportunity could be a great fit.
A Day on 2nd Shift (4:00 PM – 2:00 AM)- Begin your shift by reviewing job travelers and blueprints , confirming tooling and materials.
- Set up and/or operate CNC machining equipment to run parts to spec.
- Use inspection tools to verify features and dimensions; document results.
- Monitor production for quality, repeatability, and throughput.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and escalate when needed to keep work moving.
- Blueprint reading and measurement experience (preferred).
- Background with CMM programming , calibration , or CNC machining is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
- Pay: $23.00 – $35.00 per hour
- Shift Differential: +10% for 2nd shift
- Hours: 2nd Shift, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
