These services enable the client to remain in his or her residence and include, but are not limited to, assistance with the following: bathing, dressing, feeding, exercising, personal hygiene and grooming, transferring, ambulatting, positioning, toileting and incontinence care, assisting with medication that the client self-administers, housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, laundry, transportation, correspondence, making telephone calls, shopping for personal care items or groceries, and companionship.• Personal Care Attendant-Caregivers are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies, industry standards, and state regulations.Eligibility Requirements /Minimum Qualifications:18 years of age or olderValid I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documentsClearance verified on the Home Care Aide RegistryCurrent Tuberculosis (TB) certificateRegistered with state of CA and active HCA numberCompleted "Criminal Record Statement" (LIC 508)Complete "Personnel Record" (LIC 501)Complete "Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Suspected Abuse of Dependent Adults and Elders" (SOC 341A)Minimum of five (5) hours entry-level orientation trainingEssential Job Functions/Responsibilities:Assist with the activities of daily living and personal care including: bathing, shaving, ambulation, mouth care, dressing, exercising, hair care, feeding, toileting/incontinence care, nail care, positioning, medication reminding, skin care, transferring, meal planning & preparationReliability and professionalism is a MUSTCaregiving experience highly preferredMust be ok with a flexible scheduleWork scheduleWeekend availabilityMonday to FridayOn callHolidaysNight shiftDay shiftBenefitsFlexible schedulePaid trainingOtherSafe Harbor Home Care - Carlsbad 5411 Avenida Encinas suite 270, Carlsbad, CA 92008, USA
