Position Summary
This revenue-driving Sales Development role owns high-volume outbound prospecting and lead qualification to build a predictable pipeline for the sales organization. The position targets priority accounts, engages decision makers through phone, email, and digital outreach, and runs structured discovery to identify business needs, buying process, and next steps. The representative manages the end-to-end lead lifecycle in Salesforce CRM maintaining data quality, activity tracking, and follow-up cadences, while partnering closely with Inside Sales/Territory Sales to convert qualified opportunities into forecasted revenue.
Position Responsibilities
- Own a defined territory; build a targeted prospecting plan and execute daily outbound outreach across phone, email, and social/digital channels
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads using structured discovery and advance opportunities to agreed qualification standards
- Consistently achieve pipeline creation targets, activity goals, and SLA response times
- Develop and deliver value-based messaging tailored to key personas
- Maintain accurate CRM data and produce weekly pipeline reporting
- Partner with Inside Sales/Territory Sales to maximize conversion rates
- Leverage market and account research to identify opportunities
- Own monthly and annual sales quota and convert opportunities into revenue
- Manage opportunities through proposal, negotiation, and close
- Achieve revenue, gross margin, and customer acquisition targets

Experience
3-5+ years of progressive experience in sales development, inside sales, business development, or consultative customer-facing roles.
Education/Certification
High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
