Human Resources Manager Full Time – Exempt Position Overview The Town is seeking a knowledgeable, organized, and approachable Human Resource Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations and support a positive, compliant, and professional workplace. This position works closely with leadership, department heads, and employees on recruitment, benefits, employee relations, policy administration, training, and personnel records. Key Responsibilities Recruitment and onboarding process Administer employee benefits and leave programs Support labor and employee relations Maintain personnel records Assist with policy development and compliance Coordinate necessary trainings Provide guidance to supervisors and staff on HR matters Qualifications & Requirements Experience in human resources administration or management Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Sound judgment and confidentiality Knowledge of employment laws and best practices Ability to build effective working relationships Strong understanding of Maine Laws preferred Salary $85,000 (dependent on qualifications) Work Hours Exempt position that may require after‑hours duties.
