Position Overview

The Cardiologist will provide comprehensive outpatient cardiovascular care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. You will work alongside experienced physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and a patient‑centered approach. This role is designed to support both clinical excellence and work‑life balance, including outpatient‑focused practice, minimal phone call responsibilities, and no hospital rounds or call.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions
• Perform and interpret cardiac diagnostic studies, including:
  • Stress testing
  • Echocardiography
  • Cardiac monitoring
  • CTA cardiac imaging
  • Vascular studies
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical research, or teaching initiatives (optional)
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation

Qualifications

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Cardiology
• Eligible for or currently licensed in North Carolina
• Strong commitment to patient‑centered, team‑based care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
