About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for its Program Management Office (PMO). The successful candidate will be instrumental in the transformation of the product development process, leading the way from concept to launch with a focus on scalability, standardization, and data-driven execution. This role requires a leader with a strong background in program and portfolio management, particularly in complex, regulated environments. The Executive Director will be responsible for enterprise portfolio governance, including intake, prioritization, and stage gates, and must have a proven track record in product development, risk management, and launch readiness. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the life sciences, engineering, or business, and a passion for building a PMO center of excellence. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include leading a high-performing PMO team, preparing executive and Board communications, and serving as a trusted partner across various functions. The role demands an individual with exceptional executive communication skills, the ability to connect business acumen with technical and operational aspects, and a strategic mindset that can balance high-level design with attention to detail. A background in diagnostics, medtech, biotech, or other regulated product environments is preferred, as is experience with modern AI tools and change management. The candidate should be a collaborative leader, grounded in the values of the company, and capable of driving the urgent, quality, and patient-impacting work that the role entails.
