Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Position Summary

The Radiologic Technologist performs a range of imaging procedures in alignment with established policies and procedures at a technical level that typically requires general supervision.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provides clear explanations and instructions to patients to ensure comfort and confidence, while addressing their individual needs.
• Operates and maintains all imaging department equipment, including but not limited to x-ray machines.
• Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to accurately capture requested images.
• Executes all imaging examinations as ordered, in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws; ensures timely notification of results to the physician on duty.

Schedule

This position requires working on Sundays from 7:30 PM to 6 AM, and Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 PM to 7 AM, guaranteeing 40 hours per week. Weekend requirements include working on Sunday only.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in x-ray imaging.
• Certification in ARRT and BLS (AHA) is required.
• Experience with x-ray technology and procedures is required.
• Travel may be required for this role.
