You'll set up equipment, prepare materials, assemble and bond components, apply identification and markings, and support production needs with limited to no supervision. **Job Title:** Mechanical Assembler **Location:** Camarillo, CA **Pay Range:** $18.50/hr **Shift:** 1st shit - 6am start time **What's the Job?** + Set up equipment to meet product standards for identification, shell painting, retainer loading, contact painting, wire cutting, riveting, contact crimping, and contact hooding. + Weigh, mix, and identify inks, paints, adhesives, molding compounds, and potting materials. + Follow intermediate drawings and procedures, and perform connector assemblies using written and verbal instructions. + Manually load and/or machine load retainers into molded plastic inserts, then bond front inserts to rear inserts per work order instructions. + Prepare single and shielded wires for termination, crimp contacts to prepared wires, terminate simple cables to connectors, and load/operate heat treat and annealing ovens. **What's Needed?** + 1-2 years of experience in related mechanical manufacturing assembly operations. + Ability to read, follow, and understand verbal instruction, product/process specifications, drawings, and work orders in English. + Ability to use calculators. + Ability to lift 30 lbs. and handle components and assemblies using bending, reaching, and twisting body movements, including use of hand tools. + Electro-mechanical assembly experience a plus **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to build work experience in a global company + Chance to build confidence working with limited to no supervision while maintaining safety and quality standards. + Structured, hands-on work that keeps you engaged from setup through staging for shipment. + Weekly pay while working on a temp-to-perm contract **Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:** + Medical and Prescription Drug Plans + Dental Plan + Supplemental Life Insurance + Short Term Disability Insurance + 401(k) If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
