Job Description Custodian: 3rd shift (11 pm–7 am). Perform general, daily custodial duties in assigned areas. Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum classrooms, shop spaces, and all open spaces within designated areas and other locations as needed. Handle daily trash and recyclable disposal. Sanitize, disinfect, and wash toilets, sinks, showers, and other hard surfaces. Clean windows inside and outside of the building. Restock paper products and soap. Report damages, vandalism, or leaks to the supervisor. Maintain and properly store equipment and tools assigned to shift. Assist with training new staff on duties and equipment use. Perform snow removal and de‑icing of walkways and exterior stairs. Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned. Qualifications Responsible individual with knowledge and experience in custodial work. Detail oriented with ability to recognize unclean areas needing attention. Ability to follow best safety practices and procedures and understand SDS requirements. Capable of safely using all tools and equipment related to duties. Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects safely. Basic computer skills to retrieve and respond to work orders assigned to individual. Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures. Professional conduct around staff and students. Salary According to the SEIU Contract: $53,799.40 – $73,591.00 + $1.25 per hour differential. Reports To Facilities Director, Maintenance Supervisor, and Shift Supervisor.
