Department: 36918 Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center - Cardiac Cath Lab Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Dayshift 10hr days Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab Chicago, IL (Lakeview Neighborhood) Full time; 4-10 hour shifts Call required; must be able to meet 30 minute arrival time to hospital May be required to travel to other Advocate sites for orientation purposes Where You Will Work: The unit has three Cath Labs where physicians perform minimally invasive tests and procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease. As a nurse in this department you will assist the cardiovascular team throughout the procedure from prep through recovery. We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the

American Heart Association and ACLS

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferably in Critical Care or Cath Lab
• Ability to take call and arrive to the hospital within 30 minutes

What You’ll Do: * As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. * Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
