Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Ability to assist teachers with instructional and classroom management tasks
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and parents
- Patience, adaptability, and a nurturing attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in education are a plus
- Ability to follow direction, work collaboratively, and demonstrate initiative in the learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Support lead teachers with instructional activities and classroom organization
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students, including those with learning differences
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, orderly learning atmosphere
- Assist with preparation of educational materials and resources
- Supervise students in various settings including classrooms, playgrounds, and field trips
- Communicate effectively with both students and staff to promote student engagement
