Job Description As a Security Officer TWIC Refinery - Hwy 225in Deer Park, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and a TSA-issued TWIC. Hiring Bonus Included up to $1,000 Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.75 / Hour Valid Driver's LicenseTSA Issued TWIC Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue06:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed06:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur12:00 PM - 07:00 PMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry and exit in accordance with site requirements, documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required. Report hazards, suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel, and complete accurate activity and incident reports. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Possess a TSA-issued TWIC. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
