As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Patrol - Strang rd. in La Porte, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving position includes operating in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements while communicating clearly, responding to security-related concerns, and supporting site operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Driver's License & TWIC required Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, operational areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and incident information in accordance with site procedures. Maintain awareness of chemical/petrochemical site conditions, follow posted requirements, and promptly report hazards, spills, equipment concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: A TSA-issued TWIC is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
