Position Summary Under the supervision of the Director of Surgical Services, this position assists with surgical procedures under the guidance of surgeons, registered nurse(s), or additional O.R. personnel.

Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech Shift Details Full time / Day or Night Shift / Operating room

• Prepare and familiarize yourself with the equipment, instrumentation, and supplies needed for surgical procedures.
• Gather, check, and organize supplies and equipment in advance of surgeries.
• Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and openness to change while showcasing creativity and innovation.
• Identify and manage high-pressure situations with composure and tact.
• Maintain the highest standards of sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Exhibit flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications for Surgical Technologist:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program
• AHA BLS certified (within 30 days of hire)
• Current South Carolina state Surgical Technologist Registration
