New Home Sales Consultant

We are looking for a motivated, personable, and results-driven New Home Sales Consultant to join our sales team in Utah County. This position will be based primarily in Utah County, serving Symphony Homes communities ranging from Elk Ridge to Lehi. Sales Consultants may work from different model homes and communities within this territory based on current sales needs and community activity. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys working with people, thrives in a performance-based environment, and wants significant earning potential in new home sales. The Opportunity As a New Home Sales Consultant, you will represent Symphony Homes from one of our professionally designed model homes and serve as the primary point of contact for prospective homebuyers. You will guide buyers through the entire new-home sales process—from their first visit to the model home through contract and closing—helping them select the community, homesite, floor plan, and options that best fit their needs. This is an Independent Contractor, commission-based position with expected annual compensation of $100,000–$300,000+, depending on sales performance. Key Responsibilities Welcome and engage prospective buyers visiting the model home. Build relationships with buyers and understand their needs, priorities, budget, and timeline. Educate buyers on Symphony Homes communities, floor plans, available homes, homesites, features, options, and the homebuilding process. Conduct effective model home, community, and homesite presentations. Consistently follow up with leads and prospective buyers by phone, text, email, and other communication channels. Maintain an organized pipeline and actively manage prospects from initial inquiry through purchase. Prepare and present purchase agreements and other sales-related documents. Work closely with buyers throughout the contract, construction, and closing process. Develop strong relationships with local real estate agents and other referral partners. Maintain current knowledge of available inventory, pricing, incentives, community information, and competitive projects. Assist with sales events, Realtor events, community launches, and other marketing initiatives. Maintain a professional, welcoming, and presentation-ready model home environment. Meet and exceed individual and community sales goals. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is highly motivated, competitive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of their results. You should be equally comfortable building rapport with a buyer walking into the model for the first time and following up persistently with a prospect over an extended sales cycle. Preferred qualifications include: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong follow-up and organizational habits. Ability to confidently present and sell high-value products. Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales goals. Comfortable working in a commission-driven environment. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the Symphony Homes team. Professional appearance and demeanor. Familiarity with Utah County and the local real estate market is a plus. Active Utah Real Estate License or ability to obtain one, if required for the position. Schedule New home sales require availability when our customers are shopping for homes. Candidates should be prepared to work a schedule that includes weekends and some holidays, as well as regular weekday model home hours. Compensation $100,000–$300,000+ per year This is an Independent Contractor position with performance-based compensation.
