Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2750 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Adult patient population; approximately 50% medical and 50% telemetry. Patient ratios: 4-6:1, estimates, not guarantees.

Shift & Scheduling: No call. Every other full weekend; Saturday and Sunday are required unless otherwise approved by the leader prior to confirmation. Candidates should expect to work at least one major winter holiday: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day. Night shift orients on day shift; traveler must be available the entire week for orientation. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week at the request of the candidate.

Special Requests: Requested time off: Up to 5 days in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved. Anything more is subject to leader approval prior to confirmation, and the time would need to be made up at the end of the assignment.

Floating Requirements: Float as needed to a similar or lower acuity unit.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
