Location This is a full-time, in-person position based in Hickory, NC — a welcoming, tight-knit legal office where relationships matter and you'll know your colleagues and clients by name.

Note Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal, administrative, or professional services support role and must be able to work fully on-site in Hickory, NC. Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus. This role requires strong communication skills, exceptional organization, and a professional demeanor with clients.

Job Description

• Serve as a front-line point of contact for clients, providing a warm, professional experience from first call to final resolution
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with accuracy and care
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and attorney calendars
• Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents, files, and case materials
• Support attorneys and legal staff with administrative tasks across multiple practice areas
• Process client intake information and maintain accurate records in case management systems
• Handle notarial duties as needed (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Assist with billing, invoicing, and general office support as required

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a legal, administrative, or professional services support role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning case management software
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience considered
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to commute to Hickory, NC daily
