Sr Associate Scientist, FPD

Gilead Sciences seeks a Senior Associate Scientist to support formulation and drug product process development for biologics in a pivotal and commercial setting. The role involves designing experiments, characterizing molecules, documenting data, and collaborating across functional teams to advance innovative therapeutics toward clinical development.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments for formulation and drug product process development activities
- Apply analytical and biophysical characterization techniques; model best practices in lab execution
- Document data accurately in lab notebooks, reports, and protocols following good documentation practices
- Author technical documents and prepare data-focused presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze experimental data and collaborate with cross-functional teams on project strategy and regulatory submissions
Requirements
- MS/MA with 4+ years or BS/BA with 6+ years in biologics CMC development
- Hands-on laboratory experience required
- Experience with formulation development and drug product process development
- Clinical in-use evaluation experience for complex biologics formats
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Action-oriented mindset with high self and team expectations
Compensation: $126,820.00 - $164,120.00 base
