Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Location

Decatur, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for telemetry patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the facility (no local travelers)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down unit setting
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
