Facilities Manager

The Facilities Manager is responsible for supervising and inspecting all repair and maintenance programs/vendors, responding to, and addressing facility related issues/repairs etc., coordinating with the building landlord and internal teams to ensure proper support is provided. Responsibilities Establish and maintain facilities management plans, policies, and procedures for multiple facilities Schedule and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and services Establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs Responsible for asset management tracking Provide general facilities management to ensure janitorial, maintenance etc. is being kept up to standard Handle emergencies after hours and on weekends, as needed Serve as the liaison with the Landlord Develop and manage facilities and construction projects including scope of work, schedules, quotes and purchasing, coordination, documentation, and communicating to management and other stakeholders Track warranty repairs Escort visitors, as needed Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors for various trades and equipment Lead major/minor renovations and new property openings, obtaining potential design and build proposals and searching out contractors to submit bids for comparison Review vendor drawings and quotes to ensure compliance with scope of work Update and audit site documentation regularly Forecast space needs Ensure compliance with regulations and laws Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and climb ladders Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Other duties as assigned Must be a U.S. Citizen Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Certified HVAC Technician 5+ years' experienceas a Facilities Manager, Facility Security Officer, or similar experience 2+ years' project management experience Excellent communication skills Proficientwith Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint The ability to effectively and proactively interact with staff, leadership, industry partners, and customer agencies.
