This contract position offers a unique opportunity to support elementary, middle, or high school students in a dynamic educational environment near Middletown, DE. With the location yet to be finalized, you’ll have the chance to impact students across various campuses while collaborating with fellow professionals.

You’ll be working in a supportive setting, delivering both direct and consultative OT services that foster student independence and academic success. Immediate start is available, and while preference is given to OTRs, experienced COTAs will also be considered for this key position.

Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience within school, home health, or healthcare OT settings
• Familiarity with providing occupational therapy to diverse student populations
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and modify individualized interventions
• Aptitude for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services within the school setting
• Maintain thorough documentation of intervention sessions and student progress
• Consult with educators and families to support students’ functional engagement in class
• Adapt interventions for students at the elementary, middle, or high school levels

Compensation for this role falls between $45 and $55 per hour, reflecting experience and qualifications.
