COTA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Come join us at Cabrini of Westchester! We are a 304-bed, Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility founded in 1974 in continuation of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini’s legacy of serving those in need through works of healing, teaching, caring and giving.

We are seeking to hire a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA - Perdiem.

• $44.00 per hour.
• Perdiem.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA Qualifications:

• NYS Certification as Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Completion of 2-year accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in geriatrics is preferred.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA Job Summary:

• Treat residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Document weekly notes, monthly notes, and statistics.
• Train nursing staff and families regarding proper positioning and carry over of O.T. program.
• Discuss treatment plans and goals with Occupational Therapist.
• Modify/adapt wheelchair part(s) and accessories, modifies splints or other assistive devices for residents.
