SPM Contract Manager II

Location: Onsite 3 days per week

This role is focused on managing supplier/vendor contracts from start to finish and making sure vendors meet their contractual, financial, and performance commitments.

What you’ll do

• Manage medium to large supplier contracts throughout the full contract lifecycle.
• Develop contract strategies, terms, conditions, and negotiation plans.
• Monitor vendor performance, compliance, cost, and delivery .
• Make sure vendors follow agreed contract terms and payment conditions .
• Handle contract changes, extensions, renewals, and close-outs .
• Resolve contractual issues and conflicts between the company and suppliers.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and other internal teams .
• Review and manage PO-related commercial and technical activities .
• Track supplier/contract performance using metrics and reports .
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve processes, and increase supplier value .
• Support supplier selection and contract negotiations.
• Communicate contract requirements to everyone involved.
• Maintain proper documentation for changes, issues, and compliance.
• Help improve contract-management processes using continuous improvement (CI) principles.
• Mentor other Contract Managers when needed.

What they’re looking for

• Associate’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of contract management experience .
• Experience managing supplier/vendor contracts .
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience handling large projects or leading teams .
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, Maximo, and/or SRM is preferred.
