IT Architect - CMMC Focus | Hybrid (Denton, TX) | Up to $95/hr
We're hiring a hands-on IT Architect to lead infrastructure modernization and help drive CMMC certification efforts across the organization. This role is ideal for a well-rounded "jack-of-all-trades" technologist with deep infrastructure expertise and strong security alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions aligned with CMMC compliance requirements
- Lead efforts to help the organization obtain and maintain CMMC certification
- Migrate and secure legacy & enterprise applications into a compliant environment (MFA, SSO, IAM, conditional access)
- Develop architecture documentation and assess impact across systems
- Define standards across infrastructure, security, and governance
- Support roadmap initiatives and advise on technical direction
Required Experience
- Proven experience supporting CMMC readiness, audits, and ongoing compliance
- Strong infrastructure background across:
- Windows systems
- Dell servers
- Cisco networking
- NetApp storage
- Cloud architecture experience (AWS preferred)
- Experience modernizing and securing environments
- Willingness to travel up to 5%
Nice to Have
- French or Spanish language skills
- Development or application background
