Grapevine CORP 3500 William D Tate Ave Suite 200 Grapevine, TX 76051, USA Role Purpose This role will help to elevate the department and drive the strategy of current and future Payroll goals, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and filings, creating, and maintaining all Payroll processing documentation and required forms, and operate as a subject matter expert for all Payroll-related inquiries. Location: Grapevine, Texas Job type: Hybrid Reporting to: Payroll Manager Responsibilities Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government mandates related to wage requirements. Operates as the subject matter expert and escalation point to resolve issues. Ensure accurate processing of payrolls. Review and balance payroll reports and time files for accuracy before processing Analyze payroll issues and recommend corrective actions. Understand proper taxation of employees and employer paid benefits. Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance Keeps detailed and organized payroll records. Conduct regular audits of all payroll records. Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns. Knowledge of reconciling general ledgers regarding payroll transactions. Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping confidential information. Effectively manage and build excellent working relationships. Collaborate with Benefits, HR, Operations, Accounting and Finance to resolve issues. Adheres to local, State, and Federal safety policies, and company rules and regulations Other duties as assigned Safety, Security, Wellbeing and Compliance You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. What we are looking for Minimum of three years in a Payroll Specialist role encompassing multi-state (including Puerto Rico and Guam preferred), unions payroll administration as well as wage attachments and tax reconciliations utilizing an In-House HCM System Ability to multi-task, manage time and accept changing priorities. Strong organization skills, attention to detail and follow-through to resolve any outstanding issues. Strong written and verbal communication skills; appropriately communicate across all levels. Ability to adapt to changing environment and support of multiple locations.Ability to analyze/interpret data and take appropriate action. Must be available and flexible to work variable hours including weekends and holidays when needed. CPP certification Preferred but not required. Functional/Technical Skills Advance proficiency in UltiPro (Ultimate Software) preferred Advance knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Time Management Use time effectively and efficiently, concentrating efforts on the more important priorities. Composure Maintains calm under pressure. Can be counted on to hold things together during tough times.
