The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing personalized treatment plans, and helping individuals restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and functional limitationsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansProvide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventionsMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessaryEducate patients and families on recovery, injury prevention, and home exercise programsMaintain accurate and timely documentation of patient careCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionalsMust-Have QualificationsDegree from an accredited Physical Therapy programActive Physical Therapist License in the state of MaineBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationNice-To-Have QualificationsExperience in Rehabilitation or Acute Care settingsRequired SkillsStrong clinical assessment and treatment planning skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamStrong documentation and organizational skillsEducation & CertificationDoctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent requiredActive state licensure (Maine)BLS Certification requiredWork EnvironmentHealthcare facility / Rehabilitation center / Hospital settingPatient-focused and collaborative environment
