Job Title: Production Specialist

Location: Acton, MA
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $24.29/hour on W2
Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Specialist to support the assembly, testing, and reconfiguration of mobile devices into Personal Diabetes Managers (PDMs), along with assembling starter and controller kits. This role involves hands-on production, quality inspection, inventory management, and compliance with medical device manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, configure, test, and label medical device components and finished products.
• Operate test fixtures and perform basic mechanical assembly tasks.
• Inspect products and report quality or process discrepancies.
• Follow SOPs and comply with FDA, ISO 13485, and cGMP standards.
• Perform inventory transactions, data entry, cycle counts, and kit assembly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
• Support Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and cross-functional teamwork.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing or medical device production preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to distinguish red, green, and blue colors on handheld devices.
• Comfortable performing repetitive assembly tasks and operating manual/electric pallet jacks.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
