Senior Accountant (GL & Tax) Salary: $100k – $125k Base + Bonus Why This Senior Accountant Opportunity Stands Out Highly visible role supporting a sophisticated portfolio of 20+ entities, partnerships, and high-net-worth structures Blend of tax and GL accounting responsibilities in one comprehensive, high-impact position Opportunity to step into a stable, collaborative environment with deeply tenured leadership and staff Exposure to trusts, partnerships, individuals, and multi-entity accounting Company is modernizing processes and implementing Business Central, creating opportunities to improve systems and workflows Strong work-life balance and long-term stability emphasized by leadership Direct interaction with leadership and ability to become the team’s go-to resource for tax and accounting matters Senior Accountant Responsibilities Lead tax reporting and compliance for partnerships, trusts, individuals, and corporate entities Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries Prepare and analyze financial reporting, variances, and supporting schedules across multiple entities Maintain tax calendars, estimated payments, extensions, and filing deadlines Support process improvements, reporting enhancements, and ERP optimization initiatives Assist with audit support, cash flow reporting, and treasury-related activities Partner cross-functionally with leadership to ensure accurate reporting and compliance Senior Accountant Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience with strong high-net-worth tax exposure Experience with trusts, partnerships, and individual tax work required Strong general ledger and month-end close experience Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUPs Experience with Business Central and/or Jet Reports preferred CPA or EA strongly preferred but not required Strong analytical, organizational, and deadline-management skills
