Persons with the title of professor-clinical, associate professor-clinical, assistant professor-clinical and instructor-clinical. Duties and responsibilities are assigned in accordance with the workload guidelines laid out in the pattern of administration of each faculty department and, as appropriate, regional campus; Clinical faculty are teacher/practitioners and will be engaged primarily in teaching activities. These faculty normally have earned doctorate or other terminal degree in the relevant field or equivalent experience.## Additional Information:Assistant Professor of Teaching Practice (Assistant Professor Clinical) at The Ohio State University, Department of Statistics, Columbus, Ohio. Duties include: teaching (in-person and/or online) statistics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in an atmosphere that supports innovation in teaching approaches and application of modern pedagogical methods; mentor and work with graduate teaching assistants; develop new courses, contribute to scholarly and service activities in and beyond the department; and optionally advise undergraduate and master’s level research. Requirements: Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a closely-related field by the start of employment; requires successful completion of a background check. Recruiting for multiple positions.
