  LPN Needed-Full Time Position
Outpatient Facilities
Travel Required

 
We are currently seeking a Full-Time (LPN)to work in outpatient medical facilities in the 5 boroughs. This position requires travel.

 
Responsibilities may include:

• Oversee and support the clinic's daily activities
• Give direct nursing care to patients along with assigning patient and staff schedules and supervision of fellow nurses and medical assistants
• Work with family and staff for well-coordinated care for patients
• Obtain prior authorizations on behalf of providers
• Ensure provider and support staff documentation for all PHI is completed by EOB
• Serve as both patient advocate and liaison between the practice and population

Requirements:

• Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of New York.
• Experience with patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
• EMR experience is important
• Ability to participate in 2-5 weekdays of paid NYS Mandated OPWDD initial trainings during normal business hours upon hire
• Tuberculosis test mandatory
