The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience.Essential Responsibilities:Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining Enterprise AI AgentsTakes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable codeConsistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designsPerforms analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvementsTakes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standardsConducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development proceduresAccountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practicesEmbraces emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank's technology transformationContributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvementReviews tasks critically and ensures they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery; anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before they require escalationBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experienceSix to eight years of relevant experiencePreferred Skills/Experience:8+ years of development and architectural experience.Expert in Python Programming with good understanding of other modern programming languages (Java, C#).Experience in developing full-stack applications using React.js, Typescript.Experience in building applications using Rest API architecture including Auth Flows, Encryption, Observability.Experience in building and deploying GenAI, Agentic AI Applications using either MCP, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, autogen, Azure AI FoundryDeveloping solutions using RAG architecture patterns and vector databases utilizing Azure AI Services, FAISS etc.Good at GitHub Copilot for accelerated development and understanding on Copilot Studio.Fundamental understanding of AI/ML models, prompt engineering.Knowledge on SDLC processes, CI/CD Pipelines, container orchestrationThe role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.If there's anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.Benefits:Healthcare (medical, dental, vision)Basic term and optional term life insuranceShort-term and long-term disabilityPregnancy disability and parental leave401(k) and employer-funded retirement planPaid vacation (from two to five weeks depending on salary grade and tenure)Up to 11 paid holiday opportunitiesAdoption assistanceSick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 80 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by lawU.S. Bank is an equal opportunity employer. Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00
