We are seeking a driven and motivated Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for originating mortgage loans, building your client pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold calling, guiding borrowers through the loan process, and growing long-term client relationships that generate referrals and repeat business.

Responsibilities

•       Proactively generate new business through cold calling, networking, referral partnerships, and community outreach

•       Educate and guide clients through the mortgage loan process from application to closing

•       Evaluate borrower financials including credit reports, income, assets, and liabilities to determine loan eligibility

•       Recommend appropriate loan products based on client needs and financial profile

•       Collect and review all required loan documentation for completeness and accuracy

•       Work closely with processors, underwriters, and closing teams to ensure timely loan closings

•       Clear loan conditions as required throughout the underwriting process

•       Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, guidelines, rates, and industry regulations

•       Build and maintain a pipeline of clients and referral sources for ongoing business development

•       Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire loan process

Requirements

•       Active MLO (Mortgage Loan Originator) License — REQUIRED

•       Active NMLS registration in good standing

•       Knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan products

•       Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

•       Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong work ethic

•       Comfortable with cold calling and outbound prospecting as primary lead generation methods

•       Ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously while meeting deadlines

•       Proficiency with loan origination software and CRM tools

•       High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
