Industrial Electrician

Job Description:

• Two or more years of electrical and/or process control experience is preferred
• Perform electrical construction or maintenance work, repair electrical systems following standardized methods and applicable codes
• Follow supervisor's instructions and drawings to determine component requirements
• Assist others working on projects with shared responsibilities throughout the facility
• Perform system installation, maintenance and repair work, and carry out preventative maintenance and service as required
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems
• Experience in a manufacturing environment

Requirements:

• Good interpersonal skills and able to excel in a team environment.
• Must be able to follow directions
• Must have the desire to learn new skills
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Requires knowledge of electricity and electronics, AC/DC, circuits, & various phase power
• Must have working knowledge of electrical code as applied to industrial work
• Must be able to read complex drawings and schematic diagrams, use shop mathematics and understand principles of solid-state devices
• Required VA Journeyman or Master Electrician License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $28.57 to $33.42 per hour

Number of hires for this role: 2

Schedule: 8-hour shift (M-F) with overtime as needed
